In addition to several projects developed over the years to reorganize the access system to various airport terminals, the contract with INFRAERO where we deal with the 26 largest airports in the country completes our set of experiences in this area.
How passengers arrive, what mode of transport, where they disembark, where they park, how they walk to terminals, etc. they are processes that we model and simulate, guaranteeing not only the efficiency of each activity, but the consistency and compatibility between them.
The insertion of this structure in cities and its coexistence with the urban rhythm, its interface of circulation and integration with other models of transport, the guarantee of a good accessibility system for both vehicles and pedestrians etc. they are elements that make up the set of variables that must be analyzed, from a perspective that respects the specificity of each of them in terms of airport operation and also their specific environment.

Services:

  • Studies of urban mobility and modal integration of access to airports.

  • Survey of existing and planned plans in the bodies related to transport logistics, including, among others: Regulatory Agencies (ANTT, ANTAQ, ANAC), National Department of Transport Infrastructure, Ministries of Cities, Environment, Transport and Defense, State and Municipal Transportation Departments, as well as Infraero itself, aiming at assessing compatibility between airport and transport planning in the region, considering the infrastructure capacity and the alternatives of modal integration.

  • Projection of urban road demands related to passengers and cargo in the access corridors at UCP (passenger car unit), obtained in surveys carried out by the transport agencies and / or survey in classified transitometry field.

  • Identification of access corridors and their urban connections, with definition of traffic counts, average speed, average vehicle occupancy rate, safety levels / accident statistics, physical bottlenecks, number of lanes, whether or not there is a roadside , vertical and horizontal signaling, surface drainage system; type of pavement and its conditions, as well as other elements that can contribute to the orientation of improvements in the conditions of transport and access to air terminals.

  • Survey and evaluation of the capacity of the transport networks available in road, rail and waterway modalities. In this research, the numbers of buses, taxis , surface trains, subway trains, alternative transport vehicles should be estimated.

  • Evaluation of the capacity and level of services of the corridors and of the final segment of access to the airport, using the Highway Capacity Manual - HCM.

  • Elaboration and execution of passenger profile research, focusing on the modal distribution and vehicle occupancy rate, in addition to the identification of hubs that generate trips to / from the airport.

  • Origin / destination research aiming at the identification of cargo travel generating hubs and airport users, with the objective of estimating demand data to guide the planning of logistical actions in the short, medium and long term horizons.

  • Evaluation and proposal for improvements to existing transport systems in connection with the airport and its travel generating hubs, as well as the opportunities for using high capacity systems.

  • Evaluation and proposal for improvements to the final access segment and airport service routes.

  • Technical, Economic and Environmental Feasibility Study - EVTEA, in accordance with the DNIT methodology.

  • Studies, analysis of all planned urban / regional mobility projects and the carrying out of a declared preference survey among air transport users in metropolitan regions.
